ICDL Asia is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the ICDL Digital Talent Contest. This international competition aimed to discover and showcase the digital skills and creativity of elementary school students aged 9 to 11. The competition held in a hybrid format, brought together young talents from Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore to demonstrate and compete in various digital skills challenges.
ICDL Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership with Phenikaa University in Hanoi, Vietnam. The partnership aims to enhance the quality of ICT skills training and provide university students with the opportunity to conveniently obtain international certifications on campus. Through this partnership, both parties will work on specific training arrangements for short-term and long-term programmes.
Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DOET) held a working reception with ICDL Foundation to enhance computer and digital literacy among students in Hanoi. Both parties discussed the application of ICDL digital skills framework and certification programmes to improve students’ digital skills at all levels of the education system in Hanoi.
Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) has adopted the ICDL certification as one of its graduation requirements. This initiative aims to equip UEH’s students and future graduates with essential digital knowledge and skills, providing them with a competitive edge in the workforce.
