Starting from this year, ICDL Asia is pleased to announce that the competition is open to the Primary school level on top of Secondary school and Tertiary level. We welcome primary, secondary, and tertiary students in the Asia Pacific who wish to showcase their digital skills and take on the challenges to be part of the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2024, fostering a collaborative learning environment and promoting digital skills across various educational levels.

ICDL Asia recently concluded an impactful e-commerce domain expert-sharing workshop in Singapore and Malaysia. The half-day workshops showcased industry experts and trainers from YiCai Business School formerly from Alibaba’s Taobao University and AWS China, offering an exclusive exploration into the dynamics of China’s expansive USD 2.68 trillion e-commerce market. Focusing on China’s vast e-commerce market, the workshop highlighted the best practices of digital marketing employed by successful e-commerce players across a spectrum of platforms, including Alibaba, Taobao, Tmall, Shein, Little Red Book, Ping Duo Duo (the Chinese origin of TEMU), and TikTok.

ICDL China proudly announce its collaboration with AISL Harrow Haikou, designating the school as the first Accredited Test Centre (ATC) for ICDL in Hainan province. As part of this partnership, students in the Upper School and the Sixth Form at Harrow Haikou will embark on their ICDL journey, integrating ICDL certifications into their computing curriculum.
In a commitment to fostering digital literacy among its students, Hon Wah College located at Siu Sai Wan, the east of Hong Kong Island continues to integrate ICDL programs into its second-year Junior Secondary education curriculum. This initiative is designed to cater to the ICT learning needs of 13-14-year-old students. Each academic year sees approximately 120 students enrolling in the ICDL program, spread across three classes.
