Hackathon 2023 witnessed a magnificent showcase of innovative ideas and a genuine passion for digital technology among Hong Kong’s students. Organised by the Hong Kong Competence Education Research Institute (HKCERI) with the support of the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, the two-day event, held at Cathay City and Wu Kwai Sha Youth Village, attracted 120 students and teachers from various schools in the region.

National Digital Explorer (NDE) 2023 is a nationwide digital literacy initiative aimed at empowering Singapore students aged 10 to 18 with real-world skills, critical thinking abilities, and increased productivity. Among the 1,501 students who participated, over 95 top-performing students successfully advanced to represent their schools in the final National Round that took place on July 18th, 2023, at Crescent Girls’ School. We are pleased to announce the following Gold, Silver and Bronze Award winners of the NDE 2023 competition.
National Digital Explorer (NDE) 2023 is a nationwide digital literacy initiative that seeks to empower Singaporean students aged 10 to 18 with real-world skills that enable them to think critically and become more productive learners.
Jointly organised by Crescent Girls’ School and ICDL Asia, the programme has received tremendous support from various schools, with over 17,000 students registered to date.
The partnership enable APS to integrate the globally recognised ICDL certification programmes into its digital literacy programmes, providing students with an international credential that validates their digital skills and knowledge. As the importance of digital literacy continues to grow across all industries, the partnership between ICDL Asia and APS will enable students to gain a competitive edge in their future careers, both locally and internationally.
