UNICEF has published a new paper on digital literacy for children, arguing that the UN agency should use the EU’s DigComp framework to develop its digital literacy strategy for children. The paper also notes that ICDL has been used in 31 countries as a competence framework, and highlights that both the EU’s DigComp framework and the Digital Kids Asia-Pacific frameworks are compatible with ICDL.
The paper can be downloaded from the website of UNICEF. For more information about DigComp, you can visit our page on the framework.
