Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) Malaysia joins ICDL Asia

Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), one of the largest private universities in Malaysia with campuses in Putrajaya and Muadzam Shah, Pahang Malaysia, joins ICDL as an Accredited Test Centre (ATC) in offering ICDL to its students. UNITEN is wholly owned by the public-listed Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

Piloting ICDL programmes at the College of Business Management and Accounting (COBA), Associate Professor Dr Hj Amanuddin Shamsuddin, the Dean of COBA in his optimistic statement says that:

“It is essential for UNITEN to be part of ICDL Certification programmes and becoming the ATC in realising the aspiration to produce Digital Skilled Workforces.”

COBA starts its ICDL classes by embedding ICDL modules into the diploma and degree programmes. It is expected to start with a cohort of 200 students, and upon the successful launch, to gradually extend ICDL to the other colleges of UNITEN.
