Malaysia’s Top University conducted its first ICDL Digital Marketing public class

University of Malaya (UM) conducted its first ICDL Digital Marketing public class from 11 to 12 February 2020. Over 15 participants including the Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business Studies attended the session, which was held in UM, the premier university in Malaysia.   

ICDL Asia received positive feedback on the first day of the class as all 15 candidates passed the certification test successfully. UM also received a positive feedback from its Business Faculty as they were keen to consider ICDL certification as part of its curriculum. 

Following this, UM is ready to accept the next batch of candidates for ICDL Digital Marketing module for its staff, students and general public.  

The success of the training was owed to the close partnership between ICDL Asia and UM since 2018. ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2019 was held at UM’s Chancellor Hall and was graced by the Deputy Minister of Education, YB Ms Teo Nie Ching.
