Malaysia, March 2025 – The Peneraju Tunas BRIDGE Karisma (TBK) Programme, funded by Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (YP) and implemented by iScholar, an ICDL Accredited Test Centre, is dedicated to equipping Malaysian scholars with essential digital skills to enhance their career readiness.
The programme brings together 150 scholars from 21 universities across Malaysia, representing both public and private institutions. Its aim is to bridge the gap between academic education and in-demand industry competencies, by providing students with the necessary skills for success in today’s digital economy. Through interactive workshops and hands-on training sessions, the scholars gained valuable experience which prepares them for a digital workforce.
The TBK programme incorporates the internationally recognised ICDL Digital Marketing certification, which covers fundamental concepts such as strategic planning, web presence, search engine optimisation, social media management, engagement and lead generation, online advertising, as well as analytics to monitor and improve marketing campaigns.
In addition, the programme also includes an English language certification, mentoring sessions, and a Nurture and Development Programme (NDP) for soft skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, creative thinking, and interpersonal skills. This powerful combination demonstrates how ICDL modules represent the key component of digital fluency in a well-rounded upskilling initiative, which provides scholars with a competitive edge to help navigate their future careers with confidence.
