AICA, the ICDL National Operator in Italy launched the ICDL Information Literacy module in October 2018, with good coverage both through social media and direct targeted mailing to more than 2,400 test centers, with a total coverage of and approximately 38,000 people.
Due to interest in the module’s subject, AICA organised a ‘train the trainer’ webinar for Accredited Testers in Italy, aiming to provide specific training paths and teaching materials for the new topic. More than 350 people registered for the event, leading to a subsequent session being organised. Following the success of this ‘train the trainer’ initiative, another session will be scheduled for autumn 2019.
