This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalised through a ceremony during the ICDL Asia Digital Literacy Day 2024 at Multimedia University in Cyberjaya, whereby the MoU documents were exchanged between Mr. Damien O’Sullivan, CEO of ICDL Foundation, and Mr. Nazrul Aziz, Group Chief Strategy Officer of TalentCorp.

TalentCorp also aims to introduce forms of support for the talent ecosystem, in projects involving the empowerment of beneficiaries with digital skills, for which ICDL programmes can be a solution.
Together, both ICDL Asia and TalentCorp will support each other in developing initiatives towards achieving the shared objective of progressing Malaysians with the expertise to drive the country’s digital transformation. This strategic alliance extends to mutual participation in events relating to digital proficiency, and in promoting the importance of nurturing students and workers of all ages with digital skills to increase their productivity and employability.
By leveraging upon ICDL as a global Digital Skills Standard, and TalentCorp’s expertise as the mandated strategic think tank for the Ministry of Human Resources, this collaboration aspires to address the evolving challenges within the talent ecosystem by cultivating a digitally skilled current and future workforce, to position Malaysia as a thriving digital economy.
