At ICDL, our mission has always been digital literacy and equipping the next generation with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly tech-driven world. That is why we are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the resounding success of the recent ICDL Kenya Digital Challenge Competition 2026 Kenya edit, organized in proud partnership with SCLP Samaj School.
Held at the school’s state-of-the-art Multi Media Center, this vibrant, multi-stage event brought together brilliant young minds eager to showcase their practical computer skills, digital concepts, and innovative problem-solving abilities.
The competition was designed not just to test knowledge, but to foster confidence, resilience, and responsible technology use. The students rose to the challenge across two rigorous rounds:
- Round I (May 11, 2026): The kickoff phase where students demonstrated their foundational digital competencies, sparking a wave of enthusiasm across the student body.
- Round II (June 22, 2026): The advanced stage where final contenders pushed their skills to the limit, proving their readiness for real-world digital environments.
This initiative went far beyond typical classroom learning. It successfully sensitized the entire school community on the critical importance of gaining internationally recognized digital certifications early in one’s academic journey.
Celebrating the Achievers
The energy and determination displayed by the participants were nothing short of inspiring. ICDL officials were on-site during the intense final round to witness the students’ talent firsthand and offer their direct appreciation.
The hard work culminated on July 3, 2026, during a memorable special assembly in the school’s main hall. Backed by the immense support of the School Board of Governors, we honored the top achievers and participants who stood out for their exceptional performance.
While all participants walked away with well-deserved ICDL – Kenya Certificates of Participation, a special spotlight belongs to the standout champions of the day.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the management, dedicated staff, and forward-thinking leadership of SCLP Samaj School. By prioritizing initiatives like the ICDL Digital Challenge Competition, SCLP Samaj School continues to prove itself as a beacon of forward-thinking education, nurturing practical skills, lifelong learning, and digital readiness. The Board of Governors congratulated the award recipients and encouraged all students to continue pursuing excellence in ICT and other areas of learning.
