ICDL Asia welcomes PICOMS International University College as our newest ATC in Malaysia

We are pleased to welcome PICOMS International University College to join ICDL Asia as the 17th ICDL Accredited Test Center (ATC) in Malaysia!

PICOMS International University College was first established in 1998 as a nursing college and it is currently offering allied health and management programmes to students in Malaysia and abroad.

Formerly known as Pusrawi International College of Medical Sciences, PICOMS is a subsidiary company of Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP).

Digital transformation is rapidly changing the healthcare industry. There is a growing demand for medical practitioners to be digitally skilled and hone deeper knowledge in digital health technology.

To support PICOMS in its aim to develop digital-ready medical professionals and practitioners, ICDL programmes are currently offered as an elective (micro-credential) course to its medical students. We are working with PICOMS to embed ICDL into its curriculum in the next phase of our partnership.

Prof. Dr. Wan Mohd Azizi Bin Wan Sulaiman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of PICOMS believes that digital skills are needed to help medical practitioners to be current and resilient in the digital economy.

ICDL Asia will continue to work closely with PICOMS and other institutes of higher education in Malaysia to equip students and working professionals with the international standard digital skills.
