ICDL Asia is pleased to unveil the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2025, marking its 8th edition as a premier digital skills competition in the Asia-Pacific region. Continuing its mission to equip students with future-ready digital skills, the competition prepares participants for success in the digital economy.
Since its launch in 2017, the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge has grown significantly, attracting about 40,000 students from 1,000 schools across 18 countries. It has become a key platform for students to showcase their digital proficiency and readiness for the modern workforce.
A Competition Designed for Future Digital Success
Organised by ICDL Asia and supported by Enterprise Ireland and Skillsbox, the 2025 edition focuses on equipping students with essential digital skills relevant to their education, further studies, and future careers. With an emphasis on the global digital economy, participants will engage with emerging technologies, digital design, and essential office application tools, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world challenges.
Open to Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Students
Following last year’s successful expansion, ICDL Asia is delighted to continue welcoming primary school students alongside secondary and tertiary participants. By engaging students at various educational levels, the competition fosters digital literacy from an early age and nurtures a generation of digitally competent individuals ready to embrace future opportunities.
Students across the Asia-Pacific region are invited to participate, enhancing their skills in a collaborative and competitive environment while gaining exposure to internationally recognised digital standards.
Competition Journey
The ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2025 will take place from March to August 2025, culminating in the Grand Final and Digital Challenge 2025 Award Ceremony.
Participants will gain exclusive access to ICDL learning materials and receive the internationally recognised ICDL Certification. Those who pass the ICDL certification tests during the competition will earn ICDL Profile Certificates and eBadges. The winners of each category will also be awarded gold, silver, or bronze trophies, while all Grand Finalists will receive a digital certificate of participation.
