Haute Ecole de Commerce et de Management ( HECM ) – Benin

Created in 1999, the Haute Ecole de Commerce et de Management ( HECM ) is located  in Benin with 7 branches namely Cotonou ( Jericho and Akpakpa ), Calavi ( Gbodjè , Atrokpocodji ), Porto-Novo , Bohicon and Parakou. It is one of the best business and management schools in the sub-region. Its annual results and numerous awards bear witness to this. HECM, through its constant search for excellence and its culture of School-Business relations, quickly established itself in the higher education sector as a benchmark establishment that has won the confidence of employers both nationally and in most of the French-speaking countries of Sub-Saharan Africa. Thus, students from nearly twenty countries come to train there each year. With its 7 campuses, it covers the whole country.

HECM became an ICDL certified center in 2020. Since then, more than 1,000 students and administrative staff have obtained their certifications, thanks to the training offered in office applications.

ICDL was launched in HECM-Jéricho site (Cotonou), and the Promoter, AKE Natondé accompanied by Mr. Daris GBAGUIDI representative of ICDL Afrique Francophone  spoke to candidates to highlight the importance of the certification and the heights they can reach once trained and certified.

The Institution started with ICDL Computer and Online essentials for students in the first year, they will gradually train in more modules as they progress to the next academic years. More than seven ICDL modules will be completed before they graduate.
