The prestigious ICDL Africa Annual Forum, set to take place in the vibrant city of Kigali, Rwanda, scheduled for Wednesday, 25th October 2023. In today’s digital age, digital literacy has become a necessary skill for everyone. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to the necessary resources and training to acquire these skills. The ICDL Africa Forum 2023 aims to address this issue by bringing together stakeholders to discuss these challenges and opportunities in promoting digital literacy across different sectors in Africa. This event will bring together ICDL Africa key stakeholders from more than 30 countries across Africa. The ICDL Africa Forum serves as a platform for thought-provoking discussions on the role and necessity of digital skills in the African workforce. This year’s forum will focus on addressing the challenges posed by the Digital Skills gap, a crucial contributor to the advancement of knowledge-based economies. Through interactive sessions and expert panels, we will collectively explore strategies to fortify digital literacy levels in the workforce, thereby ensuring Africa’s future prosperity. The overarching theme for this year’s forum is “Digital Literacy for all: Tackling challenges and overcoming barriers in Africa.”
