Methodist College Kuala Lumpur joins ICDL Asia to train and certify its students and employees

The Methodist College Kuala Lumpur (MCKL) is a non-profit private college established in 1983 and is situated on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur city centre.

Offering generous scholarship schemes and affordable tuition fee, the college offers various courses at different levels, such as the A-Level, AUSMAT, American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP), Diploma programmes specialising in Early Childhood Education, English Literature and Social Work. Other than the regular tertiary level programmes, MCKL also offers courses in the Professional Accounting specialisation (CAT & ACCA).

On 12 September 2019, MCKL joined ICDL Asia as one of the ICDL Accredited Test Centres in Malaysia to offer digital skills certification to their employees and students. This is aligned with MCKL’s vision “The College of Excellence for Life”.

With the new programme offering, students and employees of MCKL will be equipped with the fundamental digital skills needed at the workplace. Through the availability of ICDL programme on their programme shelf, MCKL believes that they can now provide digital education conveniently to all students and employees.

Since its inception, students at MCKL have been accepted into many top-ranked universities abroad including New York University, Yale University, University of Oxford and University of Cambridge.
