ICDL Europe will be remaining active during the Covid-19 crisis to help support all users of the ICDL programme in Europe. While this is an exceptionally difficult time, we will be taking steps to support the continued operation of the ICDL programme in Europe.
We are working closely with National Operators of the ICDL programme in each country across Europe, as well as with our network of directly operated test centres, to allow training and testing to work with as little disruption as possible.
We have implemented special guidelines for remote invigilation of ICDL certification tests. These guidelines will let test centres run certification testing sessions remotely and securely. We take the quality of the ICDL programme very seriously and the guidelines will maintain our high standards, while allowing for the very different situation we are now in.
These new guidelines are being applied by National Operators of ICDL in the most appropriate way for each country. Please contact the operator of ICDL in your country to find out more about how this affect test centres and candidates.
We have also made our printable learning materials available as ebooks. These learning materials cover all of our modules. Again, the availability of these materials will differ from country to country, so please contact your local ICDL operator for more information.
Above all, we are maintaining close contact with all ICDL operators to make sure that we can support the ICDL programme as best as possible. Most questions can be best answered by the local operator of the ICDL programme. You can also contact us using our contact form. We will try to respond as soon as possible.
In this difficult time, on behalf of the whole ICDL community, we wish you good health.
