In Australia the Queensland Studies Authority has recognised thirteen ICDL Modules, bringing international computer qualifications to students across the state.

On September 4th New ICDL was officially launched in Zambia, bringing together key stakeholders in ICT in Zambia to discuss how best capitalise on the new structure of ICDL. Nearly 40 people attended the launch which took place at Topfloor (an ICDL Accredited Test Centre) in Lusaka with delegates coming from many parts of Zambia, as well as ICDL representatives from Zimbabwe and South Africa.
ICDL Africa was delighted to host its first ever Forum in Africa this week as over 120 delegates representing ICDL Accredited Test Centres across Africa came together to hear about New ICDL in Nairobi, Kenya.

The 8th Annual eLearning Africa conference took place in Windhoek, Namibia last week. ICDL Africa was delighted to attend and exhibit at the conference.
The Computer Society of Zimbabwe has won a Best Practice Award at the annual ECDL Foundation Forum. The award, for 'St. Dominic's Secondary School' won the Corporate/Private category, as voted by the ICDL community from around the globe.
