Nigerian Federal Road Safety Corps excel at ICDL

Print page

The end of 2013 saw an incredibly busy period at E-Tech Complete Solutions, our biggest ATC in Nigeria. Since 2012 E-Tech have been in partnership with the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), bringing ICDL to Government officials across Nigeria. To date nearly 450 staff have taken over 3000 ICDL exams.

The project came about as a result of strong cooperation between FRSC Corp Marshal, Ositadinma Chidoka and E-Tech, who had a vision of bringing internationally certified computer skills to the agency staff. The project was fully funded by the FRSC and discussions are currently in place to continue ICDL Profile testing at the agency, introducing new modules and increased flexibility.

‘The hard word of E-Tech in securing and successfully delivering this project has resulted in the ICDL certification becoming a sought after qualification for FRSC agents. We look forward to the programme expanding through ICDL Profile and continuing to work to certify the digital skills of Government staff across Nigeria.’

Daniel Palmer, General Manager - ICDL Africa
