Since last October, IBEC Región Andina has offered the ICDL from their centres in Quito, Ecuador and Lima, Peru. The centres have become ICDL Accredited Test Centres with the aim of providing digital skills training and certification to students, teachers, administrative personnel of universities and institutes, as well as to the personnel of private and public organisations, NGOs and the community in general.

The division of IBEC for the Andean Region (known as IBEC Región Andina) covers the following countries: Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Chile. In this first stage, the offices of Ecuador and Peru were accredited.
