Students at Al-al-Bayt University and the Faculty of Amman College in Jordan had the opportunity to learn more about ICDL at a recent awareness day held by Specto, the ICDL National Operator in Jordan.
The event gave Specto the opportunity to talk directly to students and make them aware of ICDL modules and how they can benefit the students’ studies. During the event, several presentations about ICDL and the importance of digital skills for employability were delivered. Specto representatives also placed ICDL booths at student meeting points to distribute brochures and answer questions. Hundreds of students expressed an interest in ICDL, and the universities appreciated the support provided by Specto. There are plans for further such activities at other universities and colleges in future.
