ICDL Africa’s Uganda team, in conjunction with Makerere University, held a colourful graduation ceremony for over 400 candidates who have successfully completed their Digital Citizen training through Makerere University’s ICDL test centre.

The five-day training that was sponsored by the Uganda Communication Commission with the aim of empowering and equipping small-scale entrepreneurs with digital skills saw local mechanics, tailors and salon attendants participate fully in the program.

The trainees thanked ICDL Africa and Makerere University for bringing the training to the level of the local people. They confessed that they had gained a lot of knowledge and skills from the training.
