Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) bringing ICDL Certification to the Malaysian Students

Jul 2018 - Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (‘TAR UC’) officially became an ICDL Accredited Test Centre. Seeing the needs in increasing digital literacy standards for its students, TAR UC is dedicating 2 computer labs at the CPE Department of each campus for ICDL Testings.TAR UC have their Main Campus in Kuala Lumpur with five other branches in Penang, Perak, Johor, Pahang and Sabah respectively; it is well recognized locally and internationally among the academic fraternity and professional bodies.

TAR UC is also one of ACCA approved learning providers (Platinum) in Malaysia. Having 5 selected ICDL modules embedded into their Accounting & Finance degree program allows Accounting Professionals acquire adequate digital skills necessary, especially for those who wish to attain the ACCA Qualification in the country. TAR UC have selected the Online Collaboration, Project Planning, IT Security, Advanced Spreadsheet and Advanced Presentation for the 4-years Accounting & Finance degree program. Such refinement to the program creates a sustainable model for students to achieve digital proficiency through ICDL Certification.

TAR UC is a premier institution of higher learning in Malaysia set up in 1969 to provide quality and affordable tertiary education. It was set up to complement and supplement the efforts of the Malaysian Government to meet the current and future manpower needs of the nation.
