Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR), Prof. Salim Khalbos, Specto and MoHESR launched ICDL in 30 accredited ‘4C centres’ across Tunisia. This was a result of an agreement signed between the two parties in May 2017. Execution of the agreement included holding 6 ICDL workshops in different areas of Tunisia. 91 trainers attended the training and passed the ICDL tests.

In addition to the 4C staff centres, attendees of the events represented 20 public universities, 10 private universities and 6 vocational training centres, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment, and the Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation. Moreover, representatives of the MoHE in Morocco attended the event.

The event featured technical details about the program, presented by ECDL Foundation and Specto, highlighting the benefits and importance of the program.

The Minister delivered the ICDL accreditation certificates for the accredited centres and ICDL certificates for the 4C trainers.
