Balkan Regional ECDL Forum Held in Belgrade

The Balkan Regional ECDL Forum took place in Belgrade on 10 November, bringing together ECDL National Operators from the Balkan region, representatives of Serbian Accredited Test Centres, ECDL Foundation, and representatives of the governments of Montenegro and Serbia.

Participants discussed recent trends in digital skills certification in the region, and beyond. A special focus was put on the importance of governmental support for initiatives targeted at improving digital literacy. A selection of examples of best practice in public projects involving ECDL certification were also presented.

The event features speakers including ECDL Foundation Chairman, Tony Franke, as well as Jakub Christoph of ECDL Foundation, Djordje Dukic and Bojana Minic of JISA, Mensura Beganovic of AIBH, Harri Kocev of ECDL Macedonia, Marijan Frkovic of CITA, Niko Schlamberger of SSI, Paolo Schgör of AICA, and Ronald Bieber of OCG.
