ICDL Foundation CEO visits Korea Productivity Center

ICDL Foundation CEO Mr. Damien O’Sullivan and ICDL Asia General Manager Ms. Tina Wu visited Seoul, Korea in early November 2015. This is a high level visit to ICDL Korea team, managed by Korea Productivity Center (KPC). ‘Korea is an important market for us, and the success of ICDL in Korea is not only important for Korea itself, but also important for other countries in the world, which could learn from Korean government and universities regarding the experiences of adopting ICDL as the national digital skills standard,’ said Mr. O’Sullivan, ‘The correlation between Korea being one of the most advanced country in terms of information technology development and infrastructure, and one of the most successful country in adopting an international standard to upskill the people is not just a coincidence.’

After a full day meeting and discussion with KPC on future development plans, Mr. O’Sullivan and Ms. Wu also visited Sahmyook University and Daekyo Group Educamp Team.
