The ICDL Foundation, in collaboration with its national operator partner, the Chambre des salariés (CSL), has been a driving force in advancing digital literacy in Luxembourg.
This partnership is particularly crucial in the context of the newly relaunched Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition in Luxembourg, a joint initiative by Digital Luxembourg, the Chambre de Commerce, and the Chambre des Métiers. Formed at the end of 2019, this coalition, with active participation from the CSL, aims to enhance digital skills across the nation and develop a comprehensive national agenda on digital literacy.
The CSL, in partnership with the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Association Engineers and Scientists of Luxembourg asbl, offers the ICDL program. This collaboration is dedicated to promoting digital skills by professionalizing users of digital tools. ICDL certifications, covering various digital competencies, are seamlessly integrated into Luxembourg’s educational and professional landscape.
As Luxembourg positions itself at the forefront of digital transformation, the ICDL Foundation, in conjunction with the CSL, plays a pivotal role in ensuring that individuals and professionals are equipped with essential digital skills. This collaborative effort contributes significantly to Luxembourg’s digital agenda, fostering a digitally adept workforce and empowering individuals to thrive in the evolving digital landscape.
